At our main Norfolk campus, you鈥檒l find professional鈥慻rade labs that replicate real workplaces. The auto shop features vehicle lifts, an alignment rack and modern diagnostic equipment, so you get the hands鈥憃n experience auto mechanics use every day.
Our Welding Lab includes more than 90 welding bays and a separate testing area, giving you the feel of a welding trade school. Instructors bring industry experience and provide one鈥憃n鈥憃ne guidance in every training area. Independent experts and the Council on Occupational Education review the campus annually to ensure we meet high standards in equipment, technology and student support.
Our branch campus in Norfolk gives you a hands鈥憃n learning environment for the Building Construction Trades and HVAC programs. In the Building Construction Trades lab, you鈥檒l practice installing appliances and working on plumbing, framing and drywall鈥攕kills employers need. The Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) lab has equipment for residential and commercial systems, including gas and oil furnaces and refrigeration units, so you get the experience of an HVAC trade school.
